The Big Give

The Big Give is a national movement that unites churches across Canada to demonstrate God's love through a day of extravagant giving. It is where everything is free! This year, the event is set for Saturday, June 6, 2025.

Participating churches have offered a variety of free services and events, such as:

• Household item giveaways
• Clothing drives
• Community fun days with carnivals
• BBQs
• Car washes
• Outdoor concerts
• Haircuts, face painting, and simple manicures
• Bike repairs
• Bagged lunches or breakfasts
• Balloons for kids
• Prayer booths, Bible distributions, or church tours
• Book giveaways
• Guitar lessons
• Movie screenings in the park with free popcorn
• Pony rides or petting zoos

1. Understand the Vision – Review The Big Give's church agreement and statement of faith.
2. Register Your Church – Complete the registration process to officially join the movement.
3. Assemble a Team – Gather a group within your church to plan and pray over your event.
4. Prepare Using Resources – Utilize the free resources provided to organize and promote your event effectively.

• Donations can be dropped off at Bethel Church 128 St. Vincent St. Barrie every Tuesday in the month of May from 9 to 4 or can be dropped off on June 6th by 9am
• Please give thoughtfully—donate clean, quality items you’d proudly share with a friend. Let every gift reflect care and dignity
• Valued items are: 
  • Linens: sheet sets, towels, table cloths
  • Kitchen gadgets, Pots and pans small appliances and dishes
  • Clothing: Baby and Children’s sizes only 
  • Toys, games and puzzles 
  • Outdoor and garden items
  • Bibles and Devotional reading
  • Craft and Art Supplies, School and office supplies
